Miss Williams' class: Room 11 at Summerland Primary is a Year 2 class, full of children who love to learn new and exciting things. As well as reinforcing everything we have learnt last year, we are also learning new strategies to help us with our reading, writing and mathematics. We are building skills in sport, art, maori and many other areas. We have a Dr. Seuss classroom theme happening this year and our classroom is decorated with all sorts of Dr. Seuss books and ideas. Through reading and exploring these books we are learning different lessons about behaviour, kindness, setting goals, thinking and the environment.
